Question 1

Is Saša Lukić a reliable DEFCON asset in Fantasy Premier League?

Accepted Answer

The DEFCON return is respectable and consistent. earned the +2pt DEFCON bonus in 1 of 6 appearances this season That is a solid profile for a midfielder in this bracket - not the very top of the league, but comfortably above the level where DEFCON becomes a meaningful part of a player's weekly ceiling. The rate holds up across the sample - the question is fit rather than talent.

Question 2

How does Lukić rank among Fantasy Premier League midfielders for DEFCON?

Accepted Answer

Lukić ranks 25 of 71 eligible midfielders for DEFCON per 90 - the 66th percentile at their position. That places them below the level where DEFCON should be a leading reason to own them. Attacking output, price, and fixtures need to carry more of the weight in the buying case.

Question 3

What do Lukić's raw defensive numbers look like this Fantasy Premier League season?

Accepted Answer

Lukić has racked up 31 combined clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles across 490 minutes. That works out to 5.7 defensive actions per 90 minutes on average. The 12-plus threshold has been cleared in 1 of 6 appearances, converting to the +2pt DEFCON bonus each time. 490 minutes is enough to see the shape of the underlying rate, though a larger sample would tighten confidence.

Question 4

Should I sign Saša Lukić for Gameweek 10 on DEFCON grounds?

Accepted Answer

The DEFCON case for Saša Lukić is respectable at 9.18 defensive contribution actions per 90. The Gameweek 10 fixture is at home to Bournemouth, an FDR 3 matchup. That is a sensible profile to bring in if you have space at the price point and want to lock in a baseline of defensive contributions, though it should sit alongside a stronger attacking or fixture reason rather than being the sole trigger.
