Question 1

What does the transfer market look like for selling Isak and buying McBurnie in Gameweek 10?

Accepted Answer

A total of 17,905 managers have sold Alexander Isak this gameweek - a volume that reflects meaningful market concern rather than isolated decisions. Meanwhile, 11,792 have moved into Oli McBurnie as an alternative, though the exit from Isak is the stronger market signal in this pairing. Understanding what is driving those 17,905 sales is the key question heading into Gameweek 10.

Question 2

What is the ownership risk of keeping Isak over McBurnie in Gameweek 10?

Accepted Answer

Alexander Isak carries 22% ownership against 1.8% for Oli McBurnie. Holding Isak keeps you aligned with the majority - if they blank, you do not lose rank to most of your rivals. But that same ownership cuts both ways: a Oli McBurnie return while you hold Isak costs rank against the 1.8% who made the switch. Your rank ambition and mini-league position should shape how you weight this.

Question 3

What is the budget impact of selling Isak for McBurnie?

Accepted Answer

Selling Alexander Isak at £9.2m for Oli McBurnie at £5.5m frees up £3.7m in your transfer bank. That freed budget can be redirected to a stronger position elsewhere in your squad, effectively making this move a two-stage value play: swapping Isak for McBurnie while strengthening another area. At 5.8 projected points for Oli McBurnie against 5.0 for Isak, the model backs the premium this gameweek.

Question 4

How do the fixtures compare for Isak and McBurnie heading into Gameweek 10?

Accepted Answer

Alexander Isak actually holds the better immediate fixture in Gameweek 10: Crystal Palace (A) rated Easy, compared to Oli McBurnie facing Arsenal (A) rated Very Hard. If fixture logic alone is driving the 11,792 transfers into McBurnie, the numbers do not fully support that rationale this week. The case for this transfer may be stronger as a medium-term hold rather than an immediate Gameweek 10 punt.
