Question 1

What does the transfer market look like for selling Martinez and buying Kinsky in Gameweek 6?

Accepted Answer

A total of 26,975 managers have sold Emiliano Martinez this gameweek - a volume that reflects meaningful market concern rather than isolated decisions. Meanwhile, 26,571 have moved into Antonín Kinsky as an alternative, though the exit from Martinez is the stronger market signal in this pairing. Understanding what is driving those 26,975 sales is the key question heading into Gameweek 6.

Question 2

What is the ownership risk of keeping Martinez over Kinsky in Gameweek 6?

Accepted Answer

Antonín Kinsky is currently held by 16.9% of FPL managers against 4.7% for Emiliano Martinez. A 12.2 percentage point ownership gap means that if Antonín Kinsky returns a double-figure haul in Gameweek 6 and you are still holding Martinez, you hand ground directly to that 16.9% ownership block. At scale, that rank movement is significant. The decision is not just about points - it is about where you land relative to the field.

Question 3

What is the budget impact of selling Martinez for Kinsky?

Accepted Answer

Selling Emiliano Martinez at £5.0m for Antonín Kinsky at £4.5m frees up £0.5m in your transfer bank. That freed budget can be redirected to a stronger position elsewhere in your squad, effectively making this move a two-stage value play: swapping Martinez for Kinsky while strengthening another area. At 4.5 projected points for Antonín Kinsky against 2.0 for Martinez, the model backs the premium this gameweek.

Question 4

How do the fixtures compare for Martinez and Kinsky heading into Gameweek 6?

Accepted Answer

Emiliano Martinez actually holds the better immediate fixture in Gameweek 6: Bournemouth (H) rated Medium, compared to Antonín Kinsky facing Man Utd (A) rated Hard. If fixture logic alone is driving the 26,571 transfers into Kinsky, the numbers do not fully support that rationale this week. The case for this transfer may be stronger as a medium-term hold rather than an immediate Gameweek 6 punt.
