Question 1

Is Elliot Anderson a reliable DEFCON asset in Fantasy Premier League?

Accepted Answer

The numbers do most of the talking. earned the +2pt DEFCON bonus in 2 of 8 appearances this season, with a 25% hit rate on the +2pt DEFCON bonus. That defensive workload sits in the top tier for midfielders across the league and points to a repeatable +2pt DEFCON floor when the 12-action threshold is cleared. For anyone tracking defensive contributions the case is straightforward.

Question 2

How does Anderson rank among Fantasy Premier League midfielders for DEFCON?

Accepted Answer

Anderson sits at number 8 of 63 eligible midfielders for DEFCON per 90. That is a top-ten profile - the underlying rate is strong enough that any manager building around defensive contributions should have this player on the shortlist.

Question 3

What do Anderson's raw defensive numbers look like this Fantasy Premier League season?

Accepted Answer

Anderson has racked up 38 combined clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles across 606 minutes. That works out to 5.6 defensive actions per 90 minutes on average. The 12-plus threshold has been cleared in 2 of 8 appearances, converting to the +2pt DEFCON bonus each time. 606 minutes is enough to see the shape of the underlying rate, though a larger sample would tighten confidence.

Question 4

Should I sign Elliot Anderson for Gameweek 9 on DEFCON grounds?

Accepted Answer

On DEFCON grounds the case is strong.
