Question 1

Is Bukayo Saka a reliable DEFCON asset in Fantasy Premier League?

Accepted Answer

There is enough here to note without overselling it. earned the +2pt DEFCON bonus in 0 of 7 appearances this season. Bukayo Saka averages 6.95 defensive contribution actions per 90 minutes across 596 minutes played (46 total actions this season). That is a moderate workload rather than an elite one - DEFCON can land, but it should be treated as a bonus rather than a bankable weekly return. The return is worth noting but the case for a transfer rests on something else.

Question 2

How does Saka rank among Fantasy Premier League midfielders for DEFCON?

Accepted Answer

Saka ranks 47 of 67 eligible midfielders for DEFCON per 90 - the 31th percentile at their position. That places them below the level where DEFCON should be a leading reason to own them. Attacking output, price, and fixtures need to carry more of the weight in the buying case.

Question 3

What do Saka's raw defensive numbers look like this Fantasy Premier League season?

Accepted Answer

Saka has racked up 23 combined clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles across 596 minutes. That works out to 3.5 defensive actions per 90 minutes on average. The 12-plus threshold has been cleared in 0 of 7 appearances, converting to the +2pt DEFCON bonus each time. 596 minutes is enough to see the shape of the underlying rate, though a larger sample would tighten confidence.

Question 4

Should I sign Bukayo Saka for Gameweek 10 on DEFCON grounds?

Accepted Answer

Bukayo Saka has an availability flag with a 0% chance of playing next round. Wait for confirmation before committing a transfer - DEFCON reliability means nothing if the player does not start. The Gameweek 10 fixture is at home to Hull City, an FDR 2 matchup.
