Is Lewis Miley a reliable DEFCON asset in Fantasy Premier League?

Accepted Answer

The numbers do most of the talking. earned the +2pt DEFCON bonus in 2 of 7 appearances this season, with a 29% hit rate on the +2pt DEFCON bonus. That defensive workload sits in the top tier for midfielders across the league and points to a repeatable +2pt DEFCON floor when the 12-action threshold is cleared. For anyone tracking defensive contributions the case is straightforward.

Question 2

How does L.Miley rank among Fantasy Premier League midfielders for DEFCON?

Accepted Answer

Among the 71 eligible midfielders, L.Miley ranks 11 for DEFCON per 90. That is a top-tier profile without being elite - the 86th percentile of the position - meaning managers who focus on fixture and price can often find better value while managers who stack DEFCON specialists will still consider them.

Question 3

What do L.Miley's raw defensive numbers look like this Fantasy Premier League season?

Accepted Answer

L.Miley has racked up 33 combined clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles across 544 minutes. That works out to 5.5 defensive actions per 90 minutes on average. The 12-plus threshold has been cleared in 2 of 7 appearances, converting to the +2pt DEFCON bonus each time. 544 minutes is enough to see the shape of the underlying rate, though a larger sample would tighten confidence.

Accepted Answer

On DEFCON grounds the case is strong. Lewis Miley is one of the most reliable midfielders in the league at 11.42 defensive contribution actions per 90 and has a 29% hit rate on the +2pt DEFCON bonus, and the Gameweek 10 fixture is away at Fulham, an FDR 3 matchup.
